The Dance Factor Unveils New Huntsville Studio with Grand Opening Celebration and Scholarship Fund Launch

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Dance Factor, a dynamic Huntsville dance studio, is set to open its new, state-of-the-art facility at 2404 Highway 72 East, Huntsville, AL 35811, with a free community event on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. This grand opening marks a significant milestone for the studio, which has grown from 45 students in 2023 to over 100 dancers, serving ages 2 through adult with inclusive, high-energy dance programs.
A New Chapter for Huntsville’s Dance Community
Founded by Huntsville native Michael Clark, The Dance Factor has become a cornerstone of North Alabama’s arts scene, earning recognition as a 2025 Best of Alabama winner and a finalist for Emerging Business of the Year by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce. Clark, also a finalist for Small Business Champion of the Year, has led the studio’s rapid growth with a focus on inclusivity and innovation.
The new 4,000-square-foot facility, replacing the original location at 1648 Jordan Road, features spacious classrooms, updated equipment, and a dedicated homework area for students. With classes in acrobatics, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, preschool, and tap, the studio welcomes dancers of all abilities, fostering creativity and confidence in a supportive environment.
“This expansion is about creating a space where every dancer feels valued,” said Clark. “We’re thrilled to grow our programs and welcome more families to experience the joy of dance.”

The fund supports children raised by grandparents, relatives, or foster families, covering up to 50% of tuition and providing free dancewear (leotards, tights, and shoes).
